About me::

I qualified as a MHFA Instructor in 2008 and deliver both the MHFA and Youth MHFA for the NHS, Claudius Training Co, and HIT Training Co. I also work two days per week as a Drug/Alcohol Counsellor and have twelve years experience in this field. This is where my interest in mental health developed through working with people who had both mental health problems and addiction issues. I am very passionate about promoting good mental health in young people and adults and even more passionate about delivering the Youth and the Adult MHFA courses. The more courses I deliver, the more Mental Health First Aiders there are to spot the signs and symptoms of mental health distress and confidently offer effective help!
