Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England has today launched its first ever social impact report.
The report is a celebration of MHFA England, its twelve years of history, achievements over the year 2018/19 and an outline of plans for the future.
Moving forward, MHFA England will publish an impact report every year to share the successes and lessons in its mission to improve the mental health of the nation.
Social Impact Lead Susannah Davis said:
"We're delighted to be publishing our first ever report on the impact of MHFA England training today. We know the difference our community of Mental Health First Aiders and MHFA England Instructor Members make, so it's exciting to now be able to share this and celebrate it.
"Moving forward, each year the report will give us an opportunity to highlight our achievements and track our progress towards training one in ten of the population in MHFA England skills."
Chief Executive Simon Blake OBE commented:
"This report celebrates everyone's individual role in making our work happen, from our central team through to our growing network of over 400,000 people trained by MHFA England.
"Every conversation one of our community has about mental health is helping reduce stigma and moving us closer to our goal of improving the mental health of the nation."
