Mental health first aid saves lives. Mental Health First Aiders have an in depth understanding of the factors that can affect well-being. Practical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues. Confidence to step in, reassure and support a person in distress. Enhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening. Knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support. This course also informs employers about discrimination litigation and how to safely and appropriately support their workforce. Course fees include: • An evidence based manual for each learner, workbooks and all training materials, Lanyards and action cards. Certificates and on-going support and advice with integrating MHFA into your organisation. Concessions for groups or voluntary sector workers. Lovely venue with free parking and a cafe, refreshments included. Experienced instructor with outstanding feedback. Most of our groups develop a bond and keep in touch following the training which is testimony to the inclusive space we create.
