Through the Youth Mental Health First Aid course, our goal is to raise awareness of mental health issues so attendees will be able to identify early warning signs and have the confidence to guide the person to seek professional help. Suitable for anyone that supports a young person aged 8-18. This one-day course examines the signs and symptoms of mental health issues children commonly experience. These include depression, anxiety, suicide, self-harm and eating disorders. The format of learning will be a mix of presentations, group discussions and group work activities. This course will be held at The Learning Village at Alec Hunter Academy, Stubbs Lane, Braintree, Essex CM7 3NR. Due to funding, I am able to provide this course at a subsidised cost of £105.
