MHFA England framework diagram with prevention, early intervention, and signposting to supportTogether we create mentally healthy workplaces where people, communities, and business thrive.

We’re the workplace mental health experts, delivering inclusive, market-leading, and evidence-based mental health training and consultancy.

With nearly two decades of experience working with over 20,000 organisations, we have a deep understanding of workplace cultures. We offer whole-organisation solutions tailored to what you or your organisation need.

We deliver training, provide advice, and set standards on mental health in the workplace.

Together, we create effective and inclusive wellbeing strategies that foster mentally healthy, high-performing, and productive teams that mean workplaces can thrive. By improving understanding of mental health and reducing stigma, we help spark supportive conversations that also extend beyond the workplace, strengthening communities, and improving and even saving lives.

The MHFA England framework (right) shows how our training promotes equality between mental health and physical health. Click on the diagram for more information.

We’ve trained over one million people in mental health knowledge, awareness, and skills, including nearly 800,000 MHFAiders® in England.
Two adults talking in the workplaceWe’re the workplace mental health experts

Most adults spend at least a third of their time at work. That’s why we focus on the workplace, to change how society manages mental health.

Our expert guidance and training courses equip you with the skills to spot the warning signs of poor mental health in yourself and others. We help you and your workplace and community build the confidence to talk about mental health. And we provide the knowledge about support services you can use or signpost people to.

When managers and leaders have the right knowledge and tools, they can better support their team. When people feel their mental health is supported at work, they can be more productive. When there’s wider understanding, there’s less stigma for everyone.

As a social enterprise, we’re a company without shareholders. That means we reinvest our profits into giving access to quality mental health training to those who need it most. Our current focus is the NHS and community groups that support young people.
