We are pleased to announce that MHFA England® has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Charity & Not-For-Profit™. The list was revealed by Great Place to Work UK®, recognising MHFA England among the list of organisations in the ‘small to medium’ category.

The Best Workplaces in Charity & Not-For-Profit list is created using anonymous feedback from employees working in the industry to determine the Best Workplaces list. The survey asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety, and financial security.

Analysis of the sector employee survey repsonses found that 89% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces for Charity & Not-For-Profit say “I’m proud to tell others I work here” compared to a UK average for sector of 69%.

We are proud to lead by example, with an organisation-wide approach to wellbeing. At MHFA England we encourage our employees to bring their whole self to work. By bringing together diversity and inclusion with health and wellbeing, we hope to drive positive transformation in workplace mental health and performance.

As a social enterprise, we’re a company without shareholders. That means we reinvest our profits into giving access to quality mental health training to those who need it most. Our current focus is on supporting the NHS and Black-led organisations. We’ve delivered mental health knowledge, awareness, and skills training to over 60 NHS Trusts and organisations.

Speaking about our award, Vicki Cockman, Director of Commercial Sales at MHFA England said:

“To be named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Charity & Not-For-Profit is an incredible achievement. There are so many amazing organisations across the sector tackling challenges facing our society, we are proud to be one of them.

“Being recognised in this list shows we have created a powerful movement with a common purpose to which our employees are proud to be a part of. We know that positive wellbeing is crucial to fuelling productivity.

“We could not have achieved this without the enthusiasm and hard work of all MHFA England staff, who continute to be ambitious for change. Consistently pushing boundaries to help our people, our communities, and society improve the mental health of the nation.”
