Work Experience

As well as being a MHFA instructor I have worked for the past 9 years as a counsellor in private practice and with a military charity, working with veterans, serving, and families of those whom have served/are serving in the military. During this time I have worked with individuals with complex PTSD, trauma and other mental health conditions.
Working in this field has helped me to understand the military ethos, the camaraderie between soldiers and the effects of transition out of the military.

As well as my military experience I have also worked with a range of clients, in a range of settings including; NHS, survivors of domestic abuse, those with depression, anxiety, relationships problems and those who are bereaved, just to name a few.
