Work Experience

Ruth founded global Mental Wealth consultancy Ruth Cooper-Dickson Limited (previously known as CHAMPS) in 2015, supporting businesses on their journey of positive organisational culture change. Ruth also created a sustainable Community Interest Company, CHAMPS for Change in 2019 (closed in 2023), enabling her to give back to communities affected by the causes she is most passionate about, namely women who have experienced domestic violence and abuse and marginalised people who have experienced trauma and adversity.

Reinforcing her standing in the research community, Ruth holds an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology with a research focus on coaching and post-traumatic growth. Ruth’s research on post-traumatic growth and coaching was published in 2023 by the European Journal of Applied Positive Psychology, in partnership with the University of East London.
