Personal Details
Kiechelle Degale has over two decades of experience in developing training for positive mental health and life management strategies with a specialism in Emotional Fitness. She is a feature writer especially around mental health and a Keynote Speaker. She leads seminars and workshops in transforming individuals and groups by developing self-confidence and self-esteem, elevating skillset and mindset for the public, private and voluntary sectors. Kiechelle is especially keen to ensure men over 40, black people and people of colour and those from LGBTQ+ communities can access the Mental Health First Aid training as these cohort tends to be underrepresented in these courses.
Kiechelle volunteers in her local homeless shelter and teaches and mentors men in and out of prison.
Known for her passionate and enthusiastic approach Kiechelle regularly receives an overwhelming amount of outstanding feedback.
Work Experience
In the last few years I have delivered MHFA Adult training and the MHFA Refresher's for over 700 individuals. This includes Middle and Senior Management staff from the NHS including - Doctors, Dentists, Mental Health Nurses and staff Managing clinics, compliance and many other departments. Delivered training for the MoD, PHE (UK Health Security Agency), DWP, UK Hydrographic office, HM Treasury, Bank of England, Councils and a number of Private Sector organisations including BMW, Entertainment and Media, Royal Shakespeare Company and Lululemon.
A solid background with over 25 years of experience in Training and Teaching. Specialising in Teaching Adult Education, training and working in collaboration with community groups, rehab and homeless shelters, NHS, PCT, Local Police, Local Council, Jobcentre Plus, Community Centres, Drug and Alcohol services, Counselling and Health Services.

Qualifications
Kiechelle’s background includes Psychotherapy, NLP (neuro linguistic programming), a Postgraduate qualification from Oxford Brooks University in Education, Diploma in Community Education and extensive training in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Safeguarding, Crisis Counselling, Trauma awareness and management, Domestic abuse, Suicide First Aid and Mental Health.
