Personal Details
I am Director of Meridian Therapeutic Services CIC. We provide affordable therapies including mindfulness, counselling and psychotherapy. I have a passion for promoting positive mental health and wellbeing for young people and adults. I am an Integrative Counsellor and work with both adults and young people on a range of issues including anxiety, stress, bereavement, low mood, suicidal ideation and bereavement. I also deliver mindfulness to individuals as well as to groups.
Work Experience
I qualified as a counsellor in 2007 and worked within a secondary school in Birmingham for over 10 years delivering 1:1 counselling, counselling and mindfulness groups to young people aged 11 - 18 years. I am currently Director of Meridian Therapeutic Services CIC, a non-profit organisation providing affordable therapies to the community. I am also a counsellor for adults and young people as well as a mental health trainer. I have experience of delivering training to members of staff in schools, trainee teachers, trainee and qualified counsellors / psychotherapists and staff within corporate organisations.
