Personal Details
In delivering training sessions I use my own experiences of Historic Sexual Abuse and the impact on my Mental Health in order to bring the sessions to real life. I was a former Professional footballer with Newcastle United from 1979-83. I talk about the abuse at a young age and the grooming process. I share my experiences of 15 years of on/off Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) in 1995 I was Sectioned under the Mental Health Act 1983 (section 2). Clinically diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder PTSD and having a Personality Disorder. 3 attempts to end my life. Self Harm. This is refined to the Audiences so that I bring the books to life by telling my own story. I am a Public speaker for Mental Health England. I am also a qualified trainer in Safeguarding Level 1, 2, advanced and Designated Lead (DSL), which carries a International CPD Certificated Accreditation.
