I believe everyone can change and achieve their goals. My passion is to facilitate new thinking in individuals, support them in making an impact for themselves and their wider organisation. I have worked as a coach since graduating from university, built my coaching business particulrly in the areas of Education and recently began coaching in prisons. I decided to train as a MHFA instructor because I had heard and seen so many people experiencing poor mental health and not receiving the support they needed or deserved. When I found out about the courses MHFA England ran, I thought it was a brilliant idea to provide people with the core skills and confidence to initially support others. It's incredible to hear the impact this course has for people, knowing that we can all help each other, listen and be open.

Work Experience

I have run my own coaching business for the last 4 years, working with individuals to help them develop a positive mindset and achieve great personal and professional development. Within my business, I coach in schools, in businesses, and work with individuals who want support for their personal development such as building confidence, overcoming barriers to their success and making positive changes. I also work as an associate coach for a charity which delivers coaching to prisoners. Working with the prisoners as a coach is a highly rewarding role of which I thoroughly enjoy.

I also deliver training in coaching skills to managers and leaders within education, and have previously delivered such training within the NHS. I also create and deliver bespoke workshops on areas such as wellbeing and resilience, to support individuals in managing their general mental wellbeing in a positive way.

I qualified as a Mental Health First Aid instructor in 2018 delivering the 2-day Adult course and love working with delegates to help them develop knowledge, skills and confidence to support others. Having a degree in Counselling Psychology, my interest has always been in mental health, understanding how we can support and help others.
