This is a trying time for everyone's mental health and many of you may be providing Mental Health First Aid support remotely to friends, family, colleagues, and neighbours.

To help you with this, the Being a Mental Health First Aider role guide now includes information on how to support someone remotely and use the ALGEE action plan from a distance.

Now as ever, we urge our Mental Health First Aider community to be kind to yourselves. Keep practicing your self-care, and set safe boundaries for yourself when supporting others. Prioritise your own wellbeing - if you need to step back from your role as a Mental Health First Aider to focus on your own mental health, please do so.

Thank you for all you are doing to support the nation's mental health.
