For organisations who wish us to deliver a centrally organised set of training course we offer them the services of our Client Experience Team. This team works with hundreds of large organisations, schools and colleges, from across the corporate, statutory and voluntary sector, to ensure their mental health training needs are met. This is achieved by arranging flexible training packages that suit each organisation’s needs, delivered by our carefully selected team of associate instructors.
In the corporate world we are currently working with a wide range of organisations to train staff, line managers and senior leaders in MHFA. One of our biggest clients is Unilever where we have trained 1,400 line managers in MHFA skills, across seven of their sites in the UK. Another large corporate client is professional services firm, EY. Within EY we have trained over 500 Mental Health First Aiders, as part of their Health EY programme. We deliver training to several clients in the construction industry including Skanska, Lendlease and Crossrail. In the statutory sector we have trained a number of Adult MHFA instructors to deliver courses to NHS England staff and the response has been very positive. Public Health Dorset has also evaluated the MHFA training that rolled out across their workforce and the results were very encouraging.
The training we deliver into workplaces is based on our Adult MHFA courses but has been tailored to include sector relevant case studies and key areas of interest, such as depression, anxiety and stress. To find out more about our workplace training please click here for the brochure.
In the education sector we have delivered a range of our Youth MHFA courses into over 500 schools and colleges, both state and independent. Again, we work with each school or college to develop a training package which suits their requirements and budgets, delivered by an associate youth instructor who is expert in that area. Examples of schools who have successfully rolled out our training courses include City of London School, Bradfield College and St Philips School.
