In August 2010 Dr Jo Borrill (University of Westminster) carried out an evaluation of MHFA Training as delivered to 29 middle or senior managers in the private sector. The training was predominantly delivered by Mitie.

Results and learning from the MHFA training were positive, as self-reported confidence in ability to support a person with mental health issues increased from a median of 3/10 to 8/10 post training. This was highly statistically significant.
