About RSPH

We partnered with RSPH to create our Ofqual regulated MHFAider qualification.

Established in 1856, RSPH is an independent campaigning and educational charity dedicated to improving and protecting the health of the public.

RSPH is the world’s oldest public health body. It awards 40,000 qualifications annually.

MHFA England and RSPH share the belief that mental health is a public health issue. Together, we can create a society where everyone’s mental health matters.

What people are saying about us

“The MHFAider qualification is an exciting step forward in the evolution of this critical training. This formalises the knowledge learners have and gives the training extra weight. I think it will help people understand that MHFAiders have been through a rigorous training process and are safe to be approached. The process felt very safe and well managed. There was support throughout and the questions really made me think about how embedded the learning had been. I now have a well-earned RSPH Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid!”
