Expert guidance

Our MHFA England Instructor Training Programme has been created with nearly 20 years of experience and expertise in delivering high quality MHFA® training. Learners who attend the MHFA England Instructor Training Programme will be provided with all the support they need from an MHFA England National Trainer during and beyond their course.

They’ll also become a member of the Association of Mental Health First Aiders®. With our training, MHFA doesn't stop when the course comes to an end. We provide our members with exclusive access to a wide range of resources, from ongoing training and qualifications to events and research.

Learn with confidence

We are the only organisation licensed by MHFA International to deliver MHFA Instructor Training programmes in England. The programme is also accredited by Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), the oldest public health body in the world.

All our training courses and materials have been developed with diversity, equity, and inclusion at their core. Grounded in research, our flexible training has been developed with input from specialist reference groups, our National Trainers, clinical experts, and those with lived experience of poor mental health.
