Personal Details
I am 43 yrs old, father of two beautiful children (Myles & Pollyanna), married to Laura. I am a keen triathlete and love a challenge. Personally mental health has had a big impact on my life through family and friends and influenced my decisions to work with MHFA and the delivery of the courses.
Work Experience
Starting out as a fitness professional working through to management for 12 years. I then felt a change was necessary and moved to work for the NHS (2008) as a Health promotion practitioner. I have continued in this line of work however it has changed from the NHS to the Local authority, to solely focus on mental health and providing training to all business and communiy sectors including the following training: MHFA (2 day) & Lite, YMHFA (2 day) & Lite, Emotional Resilience and Stress awareness for Managers and Supervisors workshops.
Qualifications
Most recently passed my degree in Certificate of Education and my level 4 in Internal quality assurance processes and i am the lead internal verifier for the local authority around Certa accreditations.
