So, a little bit about me...
I am based in York and work for the City of York Council as the Armed Forces Covenant and Veterans Support Officer and as a Mental Health Chaplain with the NHS. I deliver Mental Health First aid training for both organisations.
My own lived experience of recovery from depression, anxiety and burnout has given me the opportunity to emerge refreshed and continue my passion, experience and qualifications as an Instructor Member in the delivery of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England courses.
Work Experience
I genuinely believe in making a positive difference and teaching others to learn how to assist and support those in need.
Much like physical first aid, mental health first aid training provides the opportunity for others to learn and respond to the needs of those requiring mental health support, reduce stigma and make a real difference to people everyday.
As you bring MHFA training into your workplace, you will create a strong mental health first aid support network that will benefit all, enabling you to recognise and respond positively to those experiencing mental ill health, and utilise these skills not only to benefit your employer and staff, but use these skills in your own life, the lives of your friends, family and community too.
I have a proven track record of exceptional training delivery, with zero complaints and 100% positive feedback.
Qualifications
I am qualified to deliver both online and face-to-face training, via the Online Learning Hub, at your place of work or at a suitable venue. Courses are available as either public or private and can be booked to suit your workforce requirements.
