Personal Details
I am a wife and mother of 2 young children. I have lived in Lichfield my whole life apart from a short time in Nottingham where I went to University. I have a vision to help turn Lichfield into a Mental Health Friendly City, so am eager to train as many people in and around this fantastic City as possible. I have lived experience of mental ill health and have always felt passionately about talking to people about my experiences which has enabled others to open up to me without fear of judgment. I feel proud to say that I can help people and organisations to thrive by reducing the stigma attached to mental health.
Work Experience
I have been in training and development for over 15 years and have a passion for turning content into achievable actions, skills and behavioural changes beyond the classroom. As well as training in the area of mental health I also deliver neurodiversity awareness, sales, management and communication skills training within my company Beacon Learning and Performance Ltd (Beacon Mental Health Training).
Qualifications
I am a qualified coach and an experienced skilled trainer and facilitator. I am accredited to run the highly effective personality profiling tool Insights Discovery, Thrive Neurodiversity Awareness in the workplace courses as well as the full range of MHFA England Adult courses (2 day, 1 day Champion, Half day awareness, and half day refresher) and also the Youth MHFA 2 day course.
