So, a little bit about me...
Hi, welcome and thanks for stopping by😊

I'm Karen, founder of Rejuvenate Mental Health, established in 2020, and have had the honour of delivering physical and mental health first aid training to thousands of incredible people in workplaces across the UK.

I started my training career in 2015 with St John Ambulance, delivering the full suite of First Aid at Work and MHFA England courses up until the pandemic hit.

I'm proud to have received several awards for my training delivery and contribution to mental health in the workplace. Importantly, these represent those who went on to make the difference between a life lost and a life saved through learning first aid and were in a position to take action when it was needed most.

I'm a supportive, compassionate Mental Health Trainer, Speaker, and Accredited MHFA England Instructor Member, CiLD qualified, DBS registered, with safeguarding, CBT and counselling qualifications to support my expertise in what I teach, together with my own lived experience of mental ill-health and recovery.

Combined with a solid belief in the benefits and importance of both physical and mental health first aid, I won't teach you to simply gain a certificate, but empower you to be confident in your ability to be the difference if you're in a situation such skills are needed.

Work Experience

Much like physical first aid, mental health first aid training provides the opportunity for others to learn and respond to the needs of those requiring mental health support, reduce stigma and make a real difference to people everyday.

As you bring MHFA training into your workplace, you will create a strong mental health first aid support network that will benefit all, enabling you to recognise and respond positively to those experiencing mental ill health, and utilise these skills not only to benefit your employer and staff, but use these skills in your own life, the lives of your friends, family and community too.

I have a proven track record of exceptional training delivery, with exceptional positive feedback. In 2018, 2019 and 2020, I was honoured to receive awards in recognition for my work in mental health first aid.

Qualifications

I am qualified to deliver both online and face-to-face training, via the Online Learning Hub, at your place of work or a Rejuvenate Mental Health venue. Courses are available as either public or private and can be booked to suit your workforce requirements.

I look forward to hearing from you.
