Personal Details

Marion Hewitt is an award-winning coach, trainer, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). With a career built on developing people and supporting organisations to create healthier, more productive workplaces, Marion is recognised for her ability to blend strategic insight with a deep commitment to individual wellbeing.

Her passion for mental health awareness stems from two perspectives:

• A business perspective, recognising the strong case for investing in proactive mental health support that goes beyond addressing symptoms and instead tackles the root causes of stress and poor wellbeing.
• A human perspective, recognising the lived challenges of mental ill health — for both those directly affected and those supporting them — and the importance of building understanding, empathy, and practical solutions.

These perspectives shape her approach to training, coaching, and consultancy, making her work both impactful and relatable to a wide range of audiences.

Work Experience

Marion is accredited by MHFA England to deliver the full portfolio of adult Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses. She brings energy, empathy, and expertise to every session, equipping participants with the knowledge and confidence to support themselves and others. Her training style is engaging and accessible, ensuring learning has a lasting impact for individuals and organisations alike.

Beyond course delivery, Marion partners with organisations to take a strategic approach to wellbeing. Drawing on her extensive HR background at a strategic level across a range of sectors, she helps leadership teams and HR professionals move beyond standalone initiatives to embed wellbeing into the culture, aligning it with organisational goals, values, and performance outcomes.

Her work includes working with leadership teams to take a strategic approach to both employee and workplace wellbeing, providing a range of workshops and webinars drawing on positive psychology to build wellbeing and resilience and enable people to flourish and thrive. Individual coaching is also provided for leaders and managers to help them develop these skills for themselves, their teams, and the wider organisation.
