Personal Details
I live in the Peak District with my wife and our two dogs. We all enjoy being active in the great outdoors.
We love to travel, enjoy good food and love to adventure as we try new experiences together.
I drive a classic Land Rover, ride a motorbike and mountain bike. I'm a bit of a foodie and am working my way through cooking perfect eggs in various breakfast dishes. I have mastered 'Heuvos Rancheros' and am moving onto Shakshouka next...
I enjoy wild swimming, climbing and improving my physical health through exercise.
Work Experience
My training business specialises in Mental Health, Psychological Safety and Speaking Events. My previous career was a ‘dope-on-a-rope’ on helicopters rescuing people from sinking boats, burning oil rigs, mountain falls & Afghan battlefields. I’ve been stranded in a blizzard; survived a crash; have a Queen’s Commendation for Bravery in the Air, and a Lifesaver of the Year award. Currently, my focus is helping business understand how psychological safety improves high performance teams. I deliver psychological safety team debriefs based in neuroscience as well in addition to a range of mental health training courses and Speaking Events. Learners love my relaxed and welcoming style, which helps them to feel safe to engage with my training courses and Speaking Events. I regularly receive amazing feedback for my training and over 5 years with MHFA England 98% of learners rated me 10/10!!
