Personal Details
I live in Devon and enjoy an active lifestyle, making the most of the wonderful surroundings, with coast and moorland adventures with my family. I am passionate about health and wellbeing, mindfulness and positive psychology.
Work Experience
I am a Registered Mental Health Nurse and have worked in mental health for 24 years, mostly for the NHS, in a variety of clinical roles and settings. I am also a qualified lecturer and mentor in mental health education. My current roles include Associate Lecturer for The Open University and Independent Corporate Mental Health Trainer (including Adult Two Day MHFA training). I specialise in workforce development for mental health and wellbeing, and I'm experienced at developing mental health training programmes and strategies for employees at an organisational level.
I have been delivering MHFA training for over 3 years now on a full time basis and have a great deal of experience in providing high quality mental health training to a variety of employment sectors. Specialist areas include, education, construction, financial services, performing arts and government authorities.
