We’re proud to be a social enterprise
What is a social enterprise?
A social enterprise is a business that uses its profits to benefit lives and transform communities.
MHFA England® is a certified social enterprise and a member of the national trade body, Social Enterprise UK. We’re one of more than 70,000 social enterprises across the UK tackling social and environmental issues.
Creating mentally healthy workplaces where people, communities, and business thrive is at the heart of everything we do. Since MHFA England was founded in 2007, we’ve provided training to over 20,000 workplaces, equating to hundreds of thousands of people. Together, we’re transforming how we talk about and support mental health in the workplace and beyond.
Fighting for positive change
Most adults spend at least a third of their time at work. That’s why we focus on the workplace, to change how society manages mental health. We believe everyone should be able to talk about their mental health and get support if they need it.
Alongside our training and consultancy, our campaigning is helping organisations to build workplace cultures that create mentally healthy, high-performing, and productive teams.
Our workplace culture change campaign, My Whole Self, helps empower workplaces to create cultures where people have the safety and freedom to choose which parts of their identity they share at work.
By taking part, you can help to create safe workplaces for all, and in turn unlock creativity and productivity.
